1101-26 Fall 2016

Welcome to 1101 Section 26's Blog Roll!

Our course theme for 1101 is "Let's Argue". The goal is for students to read and write from a rhetorical perspective that views arguments as persuasive writing based on evidence. In this sense, writing and "texts" are W.O.V.E.N. artifacts (Written, Oral, Visual, Electronic, Non-verbal). Language and texts are more than just print symbols. People communicate in many ways through multiple modes. Therefore, we practice W.O.V.E.N through "writing" blogs that incorporate images, hyperlinks, videos, and sound.
